COMMON GROUND

COMMON GROUND was a Nagoya University Graduate Students Art Project. (An art project for a university that doesn’t have an art program.) Organized by the Nagoya University School of Informatics and Science with the purpose to engage students in hands on communication through clay.

COMMON GROUND

The workshop began with a slide lecture about ourselves and our work. We shared with them the concept and process of our collaboration. We then stepped outside to discuss the space and the form. Six hours and 2.5 tons of clay later, an experience was well lived.

COMMON GROUND

The final work was installed outside of the Clas gallery for 2 weeks of winter sun and rain.
